Using walking sticks and canes are excellent ways to support one’s self while walking through the town or out in nature. Carved sticks and canes are functional and make great conversation pieces. Use your stick to overturn leaves on the trail, as support for a weaker leg, for balance while going up and down hills, or as a decoration piece in your home or cabin. These functional pieces of art make the perfect gift for that “hard to buy for” person in your family or life. This walking stick is carved from elm and measures about 60 inches tall and can be cut shorter if so desired. At the top of this staff, I have carved a wolf head. The staff includes a wolf head carved, a leather strap, my initials carved on the back, and a heavy-duty rubber stopper at the base.
